Recipe: Homemade Nut Nougat Cream with Acacia Blossom Honey

Let's be honest: Who doesn't love a chocolate spread in the morning? But one look at the label of the classic brands from the supermarket is enough to quickly put a damper on your mood. Masses of refined sugar, palm oil, and artificial additives are usually the main ingredients.

We can do better than that! And really, really good.

Today I’ll show you how to whip up a nut nougat cream in under 5 minutes —one that not only tastes heavenly but is made exclusively from high-quality, natural ingredients. The star of this recipe? Our delicious organic acacia blossom honey.

Why you'll love this recipe:

  • In the blink of an eye: Ready in less than 5 minutes.
  • Clean Label: No additives, no palm oil, no refined sugar.
  • Custom: You decide how sweet or chocolatey you want it to be.
  • Natural Sweetness: Acacia honey stays liquid for a long time and adds a subtle, floral note.

The list of ingredients (for a small glass)

All you need is a handful of ingredients that you might even already have in your cupboard:

  • 70 g creamy hazelnut butter (100% hazelnuts)
  • 2 tsp acacia honey (more or less, depending on desired sweetness)
  • 2 tsp pure cocoa powder (raw cocoa, unsweetened)
  • Optional: A pinch of bourbon vanilla for a delicate aroma

It's that easy:

It couldn't be easier to make. You don't even need a blender!

  1. Put the hazelnut butter in a small glass.
  2. Stir in the acacia honey and cocoa powder until you have a smooth, glossy cream.
  3. Taste the mixture: Would you like it a little sweeter? If so, add a dollop of honey. For an extra touch of luxury, stir in the bourbon vanilla now.

And there you have it—your pure spread magic

Tasting tip:

This cream is a real all-rounder. It tastes fantastic on freshly baked bread, as a topping for your pancakes, or—let's be honest—just straight off the spoon when you're feeling a little peckish.
