What makes our TranzAlpine Organic Manuka Honey so special?
Founded in 1910 by the Newton family, TranzAlpine has over 110 years of beekeeping experience in New Zealand. The fifth generation is now harvesting the high-quality Manuka honey. Due to the connection to bees and nature, the company has been working in the spirit of ecological beekeeping from the very beginning.
For more than 30 years, New Zealand's largest organic apiary has been officially certified according to the internationally recognized BioGro guidelines for organic beekeeping, which are comparable to the guidelines of organic associations known in Germany, such as Naturland or Bioland. In the absolutely pristine nature of New Zealand's South Island, TranzAlpine beekeepers work in harmony with the bees and are careful to leave the honey as untreated as possible. This results in a unique, organic product of the highest quality in the world.
